Annual General Meeting 2017

Next week, the Society is holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at our headquarters in London. All Microbiology Society members are welcome to attend.

The AGM will be held at Charles Darwin House, London, from 13:00. Members are invited to be part of the approval process of Society matters, and witness incoming and outgoing members of Council and Division members. The afternoon will also hold the Young Microbiologist of the Year Competition finals and a Brexit discussion, where members are encouraged to join the discussions on how the process may affect the science sector and the best ways any changes can be mitigated.

This year, Annual Conference poster prize winners, Society Champions, Young Microbiologist of the Year finalists, and early career microbiologists have been invited to attend the Showcase. This morning event will bring together Society members for an exclusive day of networking with special guests from a variety of industries, who will share their career experiences. Guests attending this session will have already received their invitations.
